Dr. Charan S. Yelanadu is the founder of CHRON-X Innovations (OPC) Private Limited and the developer of AegisMed Mitra.
His work brings together medicine, research, writing and hands-on product development. AegisMed Mitra is the starting point for a wider interest in technology that can be useful in real care settings.
He approaches software and hardware as parts of the same problem: a system must be understandable to the person using it, dependable in daily work and accountable to the professional responsible for care.

Clinical work involves much more than reaching a diagnosis. Patients need to be heard, information needs to be recorded clearly, and the next person involved in their care needs a dependable account of what happened before.
These concerns inform Dr. Charan’s work on AegisMed Mitra. His aim is to make the surrounding workflow easier to navigate without reducing a consultation to a set of automated decisions.
As founder and developer, he is involved in shaping the product, testing its behaviour and refining it through feedback. The emphasis is on practical use: what a patient can understand, what a staff member can complete and what a doctor can rely on.
BEYOND ONE DISCIPLINE
His research interests include respiratory medicine and the clinical assessment of acute exacerbations of COPD, including severity and arterial blood gas abnormalities. This work reflects an interest in careful observation and evidence that can inform clinical practice.
Dr. Charan is the author of Glitchborn Vol. 1 — The Awakening. Fiction provides a different space to explore technology, identity and human choices, alongside his medical and product-development work.
Through CHRON-X Innovations, he is building a company around purposeful development, with healthcare as its first focus and room for further research and technical exploration.
His interest in perfumery brings another form of composition and experimentation into his work: developing a sensory idea through materials, balance and repeated refinement.
His software interests centre on how people interact with systems, how information moves between steps and how a useful product can remain clear as its capabilities grow.
His hardware interests include connected devices and the physical systems around healthcare technology. Medical measurement and device integration remain areas for careful development and validation.
His longer-term interests include biomedical engineering and technology for organ support. These are research aspirations, separate from the current AegisMed Mitra product, and require dedicated scientific work, collaboration and validation.
